Miami Flamingo Statue Concepts

Client: JUMBO Studios, Miami Florida

For this project I was commissioned to design the form of a flamingo statue that would be manufactured in multiples and placed around the city of Miami, each decorated by different artists in the style of cows on parade or other public sculpture projects. The flamingo was selected as a characteristic symbol for the Miami, Florida area, and I was asked to come up with a design that would echo some of the modernist and art deco influences of the architecture and visual style of the area.
