How to Leak Secrets Properly

Personal Work / Unpublished

This is a propaganda poster i designed for a fictitious government office called the Office of Strategic Narrative. The goal of this government office is to orchestrate the official story of any given event from history, or to invent new events to serve the needs of the public. The poster is designed to resemble one of those ubiquitous workplace posters and describes the properties of a good secret leak.

The poster’s illustration is designed to resemble early 20th century advertising illustration, and the selection of fonts harkens back to mid-century advertising copy.

Observant viewers will notice that the poster takes it’s own advice, stating that there are “five helpful guidelines” but giving only three, one of which is that “something is always a lie.”
